The rains and the storm season

The rainy season runs about June to October. It usually means clear mornings and rain in the late afternoon or at night rather than all-day gray, and September is normally the wettest month.

Pacific hurricane season officially runs from June through November. Heavy rain can damage the coast highway in those months. If a storm is forecast while you are here, we will tell you what it means for your plans — you should not have to work that out alone.
